Connect your digital drum kit with MIDI or Bluetooth and every pad you hit lands in the rhythm game and the drum sheets. It takes three steps in the settings panel. No kit at hand? Your phone works too, with the free Drum Kit app.
Connect in three steps
Open settings
Click the settings cogwheel on a drum sheet page or rhythm game page. This panel holds every input option for your drum kit.
Choose your input
Click Change your input controls and pick MIDI input for a USB-MIDI cable or interface, Connect to bluetooth device for wireless kits, or Mobile phone to use the Drum Kit app.
Configure and test
Keep the default mapping, which works with most kits, or map your own MIDI notes with the easy or advanced setup. Hit a pad to check that the right drum lights up.
Three ways to connect
MIDI input
Wired, with a USB-MIDI cable or a MIDI interface. The most reliable option with the lowest latency.
Bluetooth
Wireless, for drum kits and modules with Bluetooth MIDI. Pair once, then select the device in settings.
Mobile phone
Pick Mobile phone as input, tap Remote in the Drum Kit app and enter the six digit code. Your phone becomes the drum pads.
Default or custom mapping
Default settings use the General MIDI drum notes that most kits send out of the box. This is the quickest way to get started.
Custom setup lets you control the game with the exact notes your kit sends. Choose the easy setup, where you hit each pad when asked, or the advanced setup, where you type the MIDI note for every drum yourself.
Easy setup
Hit each pad when the panel asks for it and the mapping is detected for you. Recommended for first-time users and standard kit layouts.
Advanced setup
Set a specific MIDI note for every drum component yourself. Recommended for custom kits, extra pads and special mapping needs.

Frequently asked questions
Check that the cable is in the MIDI out or USB port of the module, install the driver from the manufacturer if your interface needs one, and restart the browser. Use Chrome, Edge or Firefox on a desktop computer, since Web MIDI is not available in every browser.
